Job Purpose:

The Demand Planning Analyst collaborates closely with Sales and Supply Chain management to enhance operational excellence. Responsible for perfecting the forecasting process, this role ensures efficient product availability by providing Supply Chain with essential visibility. The position spearheads the monthly Sales and Operations Planning, fostering continuous collaboration among Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. Additionally, it focuses on elevating forecasting accuracy across various levels of aggregation, using tools like SAP IBP, Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manages statistical forecasting using SAP IBP and various tools (Excel, PBI (Power BI), Alteryx).
· Owns the Consensus (IBP) forecast in SAP IBP.
· Manages short-term demand plans (N 2) in SAP IBP.
· Maintains a comprehensive forecast database for cross-functional reporting.
· Tracks and reports on KPIs (key performance indicators), including WMAPE, FVA (forecast variance), and Bias.
· Facilitates monthly collaboration meetings with sales teams to enhance forecast literacy.
· Ensures exact Master Data in SAP IBP and collaborates with production facilities for proper demand signaling.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Facilitates Demand Review (Future) and supplies data for the Monthly IBP Cycle.
Skills/ Competencies & Experience:
Communication:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Comfortably challenges sales forecasts to perfect outcomes
· Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
· Ability to effectively present information to senior management.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Computer Skills:
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA, Power Query/Power Pivot).
Experience:
· 5 years of experience in demand planning or inventory management.
· Proficient in SAP ECC/IBP/S4 HANA/APO/SQL.
· Experience in generating reports through data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and Power BI.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or a related field.
· Master’s Degree is preferred.
